Education systems vary widely throughout APEC member economies, but as the Internet minimizes the physical distances separating our borders, it is evident that we have much to share with one another. The information available on this page represents some of the ways that APEC members have sought to improve education in the region by helping students, teachers and education policy makers work collaboratively to improve education.

Brunei Darussalam is located in the northern portion of Malaysia. It provides free education to all citizens who attend public schools. The government provides tuition, textbooks, as well as transport and accommodation in hostels when necessary. | |

In Canada, located in North America, the responsibility of education falls to the provinces and territories, which are within the jurisdiction of at least one department or ministry of education.
