Best Practices in Mathematics Education Toolkits
From APEC HRDWG Wiki
Mathematics education is of vital importance in preparing today's students for the challenges and requirements of the 21st Century workforce. APEC has taken an interest in developing mathematics education effectiveness, and has developed several toolkits to assist educators and policymakers. The toolkits identify best practices in educational systems from around the APEC region, so that new ideas can be constructively reviewed and adopted by others, and the toolkits give examples of how promising practices are being adopted by the various economies.
The following toolkits were developed by the APEC Technical Assistance and Training Facility (TATF) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), under the 21st Century Mathematics Education for All in the APEC Region project, with the support of the U.S. Department of Education.
