Public Private Partnerships: Meeting the Needs of the 21st century Global Workforce

The Developing Effective Public-Private Partnerships Symposium was held August 11 through 13th, 2008 as an attempt to facilitate the exchange of ideas on innovative public-private partnerships between APEC member Economies. This exchange will help address workforce challenges in the 21st Century global economy. The symposium is designed to support the work already accomplished by APEC Human Resources Development Working Group (HRDWG) Labour and Social Protection Network (LSPN). This project is part of a two year United States Department of Labor project is interested in Ensuring Sustainable Growth in the 21st Century through Workforce Development.
