Criteria and Definitions
High Performing Economy
This designation indicates that this resource comes from an APEC member economy for which there is evidence of high performance (e.g. scores in the top quartile of international assessments).
High Performing Site
This designation indicates that this resource comes from a site for which there is evidence of high performance (e.g. the top 10 percentile on an economy-wide assessment).
Evidence-Based Practice
This designation indicates that this resource has evidence-based causal research to indicate postive impacts on performance. The research should represent experimental or quasi-experimental evidence that meets appropriate standards of evaluation quality.
Demonstration Practice
This designation indicates that this site has been selected to demonstrate this practice and may have received above normal assistance during implementation.
Typical Practice
This designation indicates that this resource illustrates the practice implemented under normal conditions.
