The EDNET Seminar on Capacity Building for Policies and Monitoring of Cross-Border Education in the APEC Region was held 26-28 June 2011 at the Shanghai Hengshan Picadie Hotel in Shanghai, P.R. China.

The seminar aimed to build on previous projects related to cross-border education (CBE) such as the Higher Education Diploma Supplement (2009) and the Capacity Building Seminar on Transnational Education Services (2008) and to set goals for improving the management of CBE across the APEC region and strengthening international cooperation and dialogue in the transnational education and CBE fields.
