DOLETA intends to promote the use of technology-based learning within the U.S. workforce investment system and advance a national technology-based learning agency by:

Sharing and disseminating DOLETA research and expert research into effective technology-based learning tools and effective uses of TBL tools.
Convening TBL experts in conferences and webinars to discuss the application of learning technologies to address workforce training needs as well as high light the eminent and emerging technologies used in education and training.
Building partnerships across federal agencies to share resources and coordinate TBL activities.
Instilling technology-based learning in DOLETA initiatives, such as other grant-funded programs, the WIRED initiative, and other DOLETA priorities

Technology-Based Learning Strategies Report, a report developed by Social Policy Research and Associates, Inc., provides an overview of state of technology-based learning and the application of such in government, industry and education.
